Ear_to_the_Ground, een nieuw festival van Muziekcentrum De Bijloke, kende een succesvolle eerste editie. Een dag gevuld met korte voorstellingen. Een festival dat beweegt tussen (zeer) verschillende diverse actuele muziekvormen, experimenteler werk, installatiekunst, een vleugje oude muziek & pop, multimediale composities en performances. Geen routebeschrijving maar een landkaart met avontuurlijke wandelpaden langsheen muziek van nu.

Nadar Summer Academy nominated for a YEAH! Award
The Nadar Summer Academy, produced byMatrix [New Music Centre] is one of he 15 finalists of the YEAH! Award 2015 . Over 100 projects from 20 European countries had applied for the third round of this renowned competition. The winners will be announced in the Award ceremony on 19th of June in Osnabrück.
Also congratulations to De Munt/La Monnaie for Sindbad and Musica for Eersteklasconcerten.

Bad Trip @ Cultuurcentrum Sint-Niklaas
De geheimen van de geest fascineren al eeuwen wetenschap en kunst. Sinds Plato buigen filosofen zich over de raadselachtige relatie tussen ziel en lichaam. Vandaag vragen we ons af hoe we comapatiënten kunnen behandelen, of liefde echt chemie is en hoe we naar andere planeten kunnen reizen. En wat te verwachten van artificiële intelligentie?
Nadar ensemble speelt vier werken waarin wonderlijke kanten van de geest centraal staan, van het waakvlammetje van de slaap tot psychedelische visioenen.
